Partnering with individuals, businesses and organizations in our community is the key to our success. We never intend to reinvent a program that already exists. For the last couple of years we have been able to listen to the needs of families stuck in generational poverty and allow this to guide our efforts. Mentoring, GED training, family support groups and budgeting money are just a few areas we have identified as areas of greatest need. If you offer a program or service that follows our mission and helps get these families on the right track we would love to talk with you to see how we can collaborate. We want to partner with you by providing resources, volunteers or funding so that YOU can help our neighbors in Bartow County!
In addition, the only way we are able to provide as many opportunities as we do is through our incredible volunteers who work tirelessly in each of our areas of service.
Please join the BLESS Coalition and our monthly partners to help those in need in our community. Email email@example.com for more information on how to get involved.
The Allatoona Resource Center is an effort of Bartow County Government to provide resources, information, assistance, educational opportunities, employment assistance, recreation activities, and basic services to the people of the South Bartow area.
The Red Door Food Pantry is Church of the Ascension's best known outreach. Sharing Christ’s love by sharing food has always been an active ministry at the parish. Not only do they serve downtown Cartersville but they serve the Allatoona Community twice a month.
Literacy changes lives and is one of the surest ways to interrupt a cycle of generational poverty. The Bookmobile provides library services to the children and adults of southern Bartow County. They serve with us every month during Serve Saturday! To learn more about the Bookmobile, please visit http://readingtogoplaces.org/
The Street Store/Allatoona provides FREE clothing and shoes for the south Bartow County community on the third Saturday of each month at the Allatoona Resource Center. All items are donated and the store is run by volunteers.
